Teresa currently facilitates on our NPQLL programme.

Teresa Masterson worked as a class teacher at Angel Oak Academy for eight years before joining the leadership team as  Assistant Head Teacher and Curriculum Lead in 2024.
Teresa holds a BA in Classics from the University of Reading and completed her PGCE at the Institute of Education, UCL. She has also completed a National Professional Qualification in Middle Leadership and an NPQ in Leading Literacy. Recently, she joined the STEP Institute of Education, alongside Ambition Institute, to support the delivery of the NPQLL. Teresa has experience across all year groups and now leads Upper Key Stage 2, with a particular focus on ensuring strong outcomes for academicians at the end of Year 6.
A committed curriculum leader, she has played an active role in the development and refinement of the academy’s curriculum and has contributed to its successful implementation. She has supported the academy through two Ofsted inspections and continues to champion high standards of teaching and learning.
